In November 2024, California’s housing market continued to face challenges, with a decrease in home sales and a slight dip in median home prices. Higher borrowing costs, reduced demand, and growing economic uncertainty remain key factors influencing these trends.

Locally, in South Lake Tahoe, we’re seeing similar patterns. Housing inventory has begun its typical seasonal decline and is expected to remain low throughout the winter months.
